See Time-Lapse Videos of The William A Irvin Moving
Friday night the William A Irvin moved for the first in more than the years and crowds gathered to watch crews move the popular tourist attraction.
The move took nearly four hours and there were a lot of stops and adjustments made during the move. It was a tight squeeze, there were only 16 inches of clearance on either side of the giant ship.
Here are a few time-lapse videos I found of the move. The Irvin will be getting a little makeover while away and will return in the spring.
