South Dakota’s New Ad Campaign Says Living There is Better Than Dying on Mars [VIDEO]

Even with the natural beauty of the Black Hills and the Badlands, South Dakota is largely a vast expanse of nothingness dotted with the occasional town, farm building, or house. To combat the state's bad rap as a place that isn't very livable, the South Dakota Governor's Office of Economic Development is starting a new ad campaign. The tongue-in-cheek campaign offers the benefits of living in South Dakota, compared to living on Mars.
