Spike Lee Honors Prince at The Oscars
Spike Lee finally won an Oscar and he may have had some help from an angel with purple wings.
Spike Lee won a long overdue Oscar for his 'BlacKkKlansman' screenplay, but it was what he wore to the award show that caught my attention.
Spike was wearing a great looking purple suit from designer Ozwald Boateng and he had Prince's iconic love symbol around his neck, that he could be seen holding and kissing during the ceremony.
Spike and Prince go WAY back, they met during the time Prince was filming 'Graffiti Bridge' and Lee directed a short film for Prince in 1992 and used his song 'Mary Don't You Weep' at the end of 'BlacKkKlansman'.
