Spirit Mountain Will Now Be Able to Make Snow From the St. Louis River

A project years in the planning and making has finally come to fruition for Spirit Mountain, and in the end this new snow making system will be more cost efficient and better for the environment.

We all know how finicky mother nature can be and for those who love out door winter sports like skiing and snowboarding fresh snow is essential. If this is any kind of case and point we have had a warmer fall and still no snow.

But with these new machines they could spray the entire hill in half the time and cost. Plus with getting snow on the hill sooner that may encourage people to get a season pass or hit the slopes sooner.
