Two immensely popular brands are joining forces, ala The Avenges, to give you a new shopping experience. Target announced over the weekend that they have formed a new partnership with Disney to launch what they are calling "Disney store at Target".

The new "shop-in-shop" locations will essentially be mini-Disney stores within Target locations. The company announced a total of 25 "Disney store at Target" locations around the country. The only Minnesota location will be in Maple Grove at their store on 15300 Grove Circle North.

What will these stores feature? A press release from Target says each location will feature more than 450 items including toys, games, apparel, and accessories. More than 100 of these items will be products previously available only at Disney retail locations. Beside shopping, these meticulously-designed shopping experiences will feature music, interactive displays, photo opportunities, and a seating area where families can watch Disney movie clips. The photo above displays an example of what one these stores will look like.

Beside being able to get exclusive Disney products, customers will also be able to take advantage of the normal Target benefits they get with the rest of the Target shopping experience, including saving on purchases with Target's credit card. Some items will also be available via the Target website, with the same shopping experience and shipping schedule as the rest of Target's online retail experience.

The first of these stores is expected to open on October 4, with the rest of the 25 locations opening later in the year. An additional 40 locations are expected to open by Fall 2020. Here's hoping one is in Duluth!

As part of the partnership, Target will also be opening a new Target store at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando in 2021.
