The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week is Nakota a white and black Beagle/Husky mix who is 5 years old. Nakota came to Animal Allies after her previous home could no longer care for her and is now looking for a new, loving home to call her own! She is a very  sweet and calm girl but is painfully shy.

Nakota would be best suited in a calm and patient home with someone willing to help her feel comfortable slowly and help me come out of my shell. She absolutely adores people once she gets to know them, and will get really upset when left alone for too long. Nakota is a big girl in need of dropping a few pounds and would love a home that will bring her on slow, long walks to help her lose a few extra pounds she has picked up over the years. Nakota is very smart and would love to show you some of her tricks like "sit" and "shake".

If you are interested in Nakota please call the adoption team at 218-722-5341 for more information! Their adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:00pm, and Sunday from 10:30am-4:00pm. You can also check out their website. Animal Allies is located at 4006 Airport Road in Duluth.
