The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week Is A Sweet Gentle Giant Of A Dog Named Murphy
The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week is a gentle giant of a dog named Murphy. He is a sable colored Saint Bernard mix who is approximately 6 years old. He is a big boy with a big heart and will make a great companion for someone out there. Due to his size he definitely needs to be with someone who is active and willing to walk him on a regular basis maybe dog park visits or a fenced in backyard.
Murphy was transferred from another shelter and so hopefully he is done being shuffled around from place to place and will soon find a new loving home. He has been neutered, micro chipped, fully vaccinated and and vet checked. He loves to play tug o' war , fetch and go on long walks he is all big dog.
Thankfully with the nicer weather the staff and volunteers are able to get he dogs outside for exercise and fun which is so important especially for a dog like Murphy. The shelter is not open to the public to come look at the animals up for adoption but if you have a cat or dog like Murphy that you are interested in you can set up a visit with the adoption team to arrange a visit at the shelter.
The adoption staff is available by phone starting right at 10:30 to 6:00 PM Tuesday-Saturday, and 10:30 to 4:00 PM Sunday. The adoption process is first come first serve so whoever reaches the staff first will have the opportunity to place a hold. You can see what animals are for adoption at animalallies.net.
