The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week is an adorable younger dog named Kane. He weighs around 53 pounds, and is a black and white, Border Collie and American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is 1 year old. Sadly for Kane he ended up at the shelter when his former owners could no longer care for him.

This sweet boy is a little timid and shy at first especially with men, but with a lot of love and patience he is sure to warm up to you because by nature he is a very sweet and cuddly guy.  He also loves to sit on peoples laps and cuddle. Some dogs just do not realize how big they are and he is one of them.

The beauty with Kane is he is out of his puppy stage but is still a young dog and he would be a great fit for an active person or family.  I am sure he would love to find a new home soon, so he can frolic on the beach or play fetch with you in the backyard. Kane has been neutered, micro-chipped, fully vaccinated and has been given a full health screening by the Veterinarian team at Animal Allies.
