We've heard so much about aliens lately that Bigfoot seems to have taken a backseat when it comes to the supernatural. Ha!

I recently did some research to find out the last time Bigfoot was spotted in St. Louis County just because I was curious. At the time I did my research, there hadn't been a report since April of 2018.

That got me thinking - when was the last time the (possibly) mythical creature was spotted in Wisconsin? I went to The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization to find out and it turns out it was pretty recently - July 2019.

According to the report, the sighting took place on July 9th in Price County. Bigfoot was spotted near Tripoli and South Turcott Road. It happened around 5 p.m. during daylight hours.

The person who reported the sighting described the creature as "a large, reddish-brown, upright figure running along the edge of the trees in the distance. It seemed to be hunched over as it ran. It was too large to be a deer, and did not have a proper height, or gait, for a bear."

The two other individuals in the car also saw the creature and described it in the same way, according to the report. Apparently, the area in which they spotted the creature is known as a Bigfoot hotspot. Cool!

Here's another fun fact: there has never been a Bigfoot sighting in Douglas County - for now.
