Two Pedestrians Killed at Minnesota Intersections in Two Days
Plymouth, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is investigating another deadly pedestrian versus vehicle collision.
The latest incident occurred Saturday evening in the Twin Cities. The State Patrol says a pedestrian was crossing Highway 55 in Plymouth when he was struck by an SUV around 8:20 PM. The crash report indicates the victim was not in the crosswalk and was crossing the busy highway against the traffic light.

At this point, the deceased pedestrian has only been identified as a 70-year-old man from Minneapolis.
A 68-year-old Eagan woman was driving the SUV with a 69-year-old male passenger. The State Patrol says they were not injured.
The preliminary State Patrol report on the incident indicates neither occupants of the vehicle had been drinking alcohol, but it's suspected the pedestrian had been drinking.
