The Minnesota Vikings and U.S. Bank Stadium unveiled a larger area specifically designed for nursing mothers. To celebrate National Breastfeeding awareness month the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority (MSFA) opened the "Mothers Room" to the public last Friday.

This private breastfeeding room will be available for all major events at the stadium and was open for fans during last Fridays Vikings Game against Seattle. The addition of this room was based on fan feedback and was funded through the stadium's capital improvements budget.

The 154 square foot room has seating for four women and has two private nursing areas with a changing table and supplies and also an area for toddlers complete with toys and of course a television to keep an eye on the game or event. The room is located in section 122 of the main concourse near the women's restroom.

Fans can also locate the "Mothers Room" on the Vikings Mobile App once they are inside the stadium.
