USA Olympic Curlers Matt Hamilton & John Shuster Immortalized As Bobbleheads
Here's another accolade for Team Shuster! The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame is releasing a limited number of bobbleheads that feature the 2018 Gold Medalists in Men's Curling.
Matt Hamilton previously had a bobblehead after the 2018 Olympics. Hamilton is from McFarland Wisconsin and has been on Team Shuster for both the 2018 and 2022 Olympics. They are now featuring Hamilton's flowing hair for the 2022 edition of his Bobblehead. His style was noticed across the globe with his custom shoes, tattoos, and his long flowing hair.
He hasn't cut his hair in the last four years, but he plans to donate it to charity in March. Hamilton has been working with the charity Stachestrong.org. It's a fundraiser organization for Brain Cancer Research, specifically Glioblastoma Multiform. it's the most common type of brain tumor diagnosed.
This will be John Shuster's first bobblehead featuring the team skip on an oval red, white, and blue base holding a broom in his left hand while he celebrates victory. They also both have gold medals that are removable.
The pieces are available to pre-order now for $30 apiece from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum which is located in Milwaukee Wisconsin. They are expected to ship in July.
We recently had John Shuster join us in-studio during our St. Jude radiothon. He became a partner and hope and even donated a signed jersey that he wore in Beijing to help raise money to fight childhood cancer.
