Two of the top 5 quarterbacks in Minnesota Vikings history will be paying a visit to Northern Minnesota this month, giving you the chance to meet and visit with them.

One of these two legendary former NFL signal-callers isn't new to the area, while the other hasn't made any visits of this nature before that I'm aware of.

The first of the two former Vikings star quarterbacks is "Two Minute" Tommy Kramer, who regularly makes tours around Minnesota, hosting Vikings viewing parties and being part of other fan events.

Tommy's place in Vikings history includes having the second-most passing yards and third-most touchdowns in team history. Kramer played with the Vikings in the late 1970s and 1980s.

The other quarterback coming along with Tommy is a significantly more recent star who once donned the purple and gold.

I'm talking about Daunte Culpepper, who threw for the 4th most yards (20,162) and 4th most touchdowns (135) in Vikings history during his time with the team from 1999 through 2005.

Daunte was drafted 11th overall in the 1999 draft, playing as a starter in the 2000-2005 seasons with the Vikings. His first year as a starter included an 11-5 record, but his remaining years were less impressive from a win-loss perspective, ending his time in Minnesota with a 38-42 record (including playoffs).

Despite that sub-.500 record, Daunte made three Pro Bowl appearances, two playoff runs, and put up very impressive numbers. Injuries were, unfortunately, a significant part of the story, and he ultimately ended up being traded to the Miami Dolphins.

Both Daunte and Tommy will reportedly be making a few appearances in the Twin Ports area, including one being promoted by The Rendezvous in Scanlon.

The bar, right off the County Highway 45 exit off I-35 to Cloquet, shared a Facebook post promoting that both Daunte and Tommy would be making a two-hour appearance at "The Vous" on Thursday, September 11, from 7 pm to 9 pm.

I've also heard rumors that there are plans for the duo of quarterbacks to make other appearances at some Twin Ports area bars during that same week, but I haven't been able to confirm those rumors yet. If you have any inside info, let me know! I'll gladly update this post to add those details.

In the meantime, your chance to hang out with both #9 and #11 is going to be on September 11 this coming week.
