What Are The Most Popular Halloween 2020 Costumes In The Twin Ports?
Halloween is almost here, and Google is flexing their analytics muscle by breaking down the most popular costumes here in the Northland, in each state, as well as nationwide. Using Google's "Trends" platform, the search giant is sharing the most popular costumes based on search data via their Frightgeist website.
The interactive site, which not only shows the most popular costumes by area, will also help you find a unique costume if you want to buck the trends. It is worth noting that this data is updated regularly, so it might change some as continued search results come in before Halloween.

I also mentioned that Google's FrightGeist website has a "costume wizard", which allows you customize a costume idea based on a few key factors. You can adjust the level of spookiness, if you want a more classic or modern look, if you want to look at local or national trends, and how unique you want to be.
I tried this a few times with the same settings, and it did generate a different idea each time. Using the settings I had (I leaned more unique for the Twin Ports area), I got ideas like a peacock, avocado, and Edward Scissorhands. Some of the results seemed strange for the way I had the settings calibrated, but maybe your results will vary if you need an idea.
