Top Wisconsin Counties For Catching Record-Setting Big Fish
When it comes to finding big fish, you're often left to rely on historical success as a starting point to find future big catches.
For anglers across Wisconsin, there are a select handful of counties that happen to be home to a sizable number of the state records for the biggest fish caught across various game species.
Of Wisconsin's 72 counties, 12 of them are home to a staggering 43 of the total state record fish the Wisconsin DNR has records of across various species across the state.
This, of course, is all reliant on people catching and reporting their record catch. That means that it's quite possible there are some even bigger lunkers lurking in lakes around Wisconsin that we just don't know about yet.
