Last week the Eau Claire Wisconsin Police probably had no idea what they were about to deal with as they answered a call to a local Walmart store. According to the Police Facebook Page it turned into quite the wild affair. On April 10 around 8:30 PM the call had come into headquarters about a retail theft in progress, what happened next is straight out of a bad comedy sketch.

When officers arrived on scene they saw 46 year old Lisa Smith screaming for her dog "Bo" who was on the loose and also learned that her 25 year old son Benny Vann was also in the store causing problems as well. Apparently Smith had come into the store with her dog who was not on a leash and kept jumping up on customers, meanwhile Smith was grabbing store displays and throwing them in her cart. She was asked to leave the store from management and proceeded to go out in the parking lot and did "Karate Moves." Smith was arrested and fought with officers, and also attempted to kick out the back window of the police car.

Meanwhile her son was inside the store ,grabbed a box of Jiffy Cornbread Mix and attempted to leave with out paying for it. He turned around and made his way to the back of the store where he proceeded to take off all of his clothes and was exposing himself to customers, he then grabbed new clothes off the rack but did not attempt to pay for them. When officers reached him he tried to run them over with his scooter.  Officer were able to stop the scooter and arrested Vann as well.

Here is a list of their charges:

Smith was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. Vann was arrested for Lewd and Lascivious Behavior, Disorderly Conduct and Retail Theft. Bo was caught by Officers in the store and brought to the Humane Association. Could you even imagine being in or outside the store watching all of this go down? Wow, talk about A Hot Mess all the way around.
