Wisconsin’s Chris Kroeze Advances to Top Ten on ‘The Voice’
The pride of Barron Wisconsin Chris Kroeze continues his musical quest as he has now advanced to the top ten contestants on 'The Voice!' Kroeze dazzled viewers with his rendition of the Doobie Brothers classic song "Long Train Runnin" playing guitar and showing off his commanding vocals.
Kroeze's Coach Blake Shelton said “You just keep getting better every single performance.” The show this past week featured fan favorite songs and had a live shot of the watch party in Barron, WI. Approximately 1,800 people attended the event In addition to Chris’s family, friends and the Barron, WI community, family members of Jayme Closs were in attendance supporting Chris as well.
Kroeze lives in Northwest Wisconsin with his wife Mara, daughter Bella, and son Finely. Following the results of the show Kroeze said “I continue to be overwhelmed with the support from Wisconsin and the entire Midwest. It’s such a cool feeling to know that so many people like my music, and me.”
