Yu & J’s Replaces Charley’s At The Miller Hill Mall

When Charley's had its lights shut off around Christmas time it had me wondering what was going on. With a new name and new menu, Yu & J's has replaced Charley's at the mall.

I was devastated when Steak Escape closed down in the mall, but Charley's slowly was taking over my heart. Turns out Charley's is no more and it is Yu & J's, a brand new grilled sub shop. You'll see the same smiling faces, but the menu has changed including Korean bbq items  .

I probably should have tried something new like the Bulgogi Philly Steak or the Kochujang Philly Chicken, but instead I played it safe with the Philly Bacon. With the first bite I could tell the sandwich tasted different. It's actually quite amazing, even the vegetables had a burst of flavor. I did not want to stop eating and I will definitely be back for more.

The Charley's in West Duluth is still open, but I highly recommend trying Yu & J's whenever you find yourself at the mall.
