Best Playgrounds in Duluth/Superior – Our Top Five.

I asked my kids (who are self-proclaimed playground experts) which parks/playgrounds were their favorite. They had a lot of excited input, and many requests to go “check them out” just so they could be sure they were fun. So here’s our list of the Best Playgrounds in Duluth / Superior.
Lincoln Park 
Highlights: Miller Creek, the Pavilion, covered picnic area with grills, Lincoln Park Trail, Elephant Rock
Franklin Square Park
Highlights: Basketball and Tennis courts, kid’s “rock climbing” wall, convenient location
Memorial Park
Highlights: Softball fields, 2 playgrounds, convenient location, covered picnic area
Harbor View
Highlights: Beautiful view, close to: Barker’s Island, Richard I. Bong Veteran’s Historical Center, Osaugie Walking Trail
Playfront Park
Highlights: new and different equipment, convenient location, close to the Lakewalk, Great Lakes Aquarium, Bayfront Festival Park
