Duluth Police Warn The Public To Be On The Lookout For Fake $100 Bills
The next time you have a $100 bill in your possession, you might want to double-check to make sure it's real. The Duluth Police Department is receiving reports of an increased number of counterfeit $100 bills in the area that look legitimate, except for a couple telling markings.
The police are asking the public to examine bills when you come in contact with them or receive them as a means of payment in order to make sure they are real. The bills in question are clearly marked on the front and back with text that says "for motion picture use only". You can see examples of this in the images below:
