June 5, 2012 Duluth and Superior Police and Fire departments are looking for a possible serial arsonist that has been starting fires around the Twin Ports since March. Authorities now have a solid lead with some images captured from surveillance video, specifically for the arson fires that occurred on May 5th and 22nd in the West Duluth Area.
May 22, 2012 Not only were there 3 suspected arson fires in West Duluth last night, but there were also 3 suspicious fires in Superior reported in the early morning hours. There have been at least 15 suspected arson fires between Duluth and Superior since March, leaving residents in a couple of neighborhoods on edge and authorities on the hunt.

May 2, 2012 Joshua Lee Littlewolf, who was wanted in connection with the first murder in Duluth since 2010, was arrested in St. Cloud, MN today on the outstanding warrant for his arrest. Police in St. Cloud were called to a residence on the East side of St. Cloud at 4:11 am today (May 2).
May 1, 2012 The Duluth Police released more information today regrading the murder of 28 year old Joshua Eric Defoe of Duluth last Friday.
Nakota Benjamin, a 37 year old male resident of Duluth, was officially charged toady with 2nd Degree Murder. Police originally arrested Wesley Jones, a 47 year old male, resident of Duluth for Aid and Abet 2nd Degree Murder. He was released today and remains a person of interest.
