If you have ever been through the beautiful Glensheen mansion it seems to go on forever, so it takes quite a crew to decorate for the holidays. Glensheen has been closed for the week so staff can have the time it takes into making it one if the most festive homes in the area.

The mansion has always been decorated for the Holidays but according to spokesperson Luci Amundson, they have really stepped it up the past several years. 25 trees in all will be set up throughout the mansion along with miles of sparkling lights.

Besides the tour there is going to be a new Christmas book for kids, cookies made from Clara Congdons own recipe and a Vintage sleigh that you can actually sit in to get pictures taken.

The Christmas tours start this Saturday, Nov. 18th, at 9 a.m. and go through Jan. 7th. Guided tours are available on weekdays, and the mansion is open for self-guided tours on weekends. For more information Click Here
