Governor Dayton Proclaims January 9th As Law Enforcement Appreciation Day
Governor Dayton has declared Monday, January 9th as Law Enforcement Appreciation Day to honor the law enforcement officials in the state who risk their lives every day to keep people safe.
According to a press release, Dayton said:
“Every day and night, law enforcement officers put their lives on the line to protect and serve communities across our state. Today, we recognize the service and sacrifice of those brave men and women, and their families. Minnesota is a safer, stronger, better state thanks to their unwavering service.”
I think it's a wonderful idea to point out the good that the men and women in blue to for their city everyday. The I-35W Bridge in the cities will even be light blue for the special day. I would like to thank all of the officers nationwide for serving and protecting every day.
