Today we're going back in time to where Will Smith and Martin Lawrence were 'Bad Boys', we'll remember a famous folk singer and actor, and listen to one of Alanis Morissette's biggest hits.

The action comedy 'Bad Boys' came out this week starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence and was also the directorial debut of Michael Bay. The film was originally written for SNL alums Dana Carvey and Jon Lovitz and was originally tilted 'Bulletproof Hearts' but the script was rewritten and the roles were given to Smith and Lawrence. The film was a huge success making over $140 million at the box office.

We said good bye to the late great Burl Ives. The folk singer and actor passed away at the age of 85 due to complications from cancer. He was the voice of Sam the Snowman in one of my favorite Christmas movies, 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer'.

From her third studio album, 'Jagged Little Pill' Alanis Morissette released 'You Oughta Know'. The song crossed her over from a pop artist to an alternative rock artist giving her three Grammy nominations, two wins and peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.
