Icy Roads Make For A Slippery Sunday January 12, 2014 In Duluth [VIDEO]

Folks around the Twin Ports woke up to an icy surprise on Sunday morning, as freezing rain made for miserable driving conditions that even led to the DTA suspending bus service for a time.

It was so slick, these two individuals "road surfed" down West Third Street near the intersection of Mesaba Avenue.

While some may have had fun with the icy conditions, many others dealt with dangerous and frustrating road conditions that included people sliding down Lake Avenue with no real way to stop beside hitting something.
