Northbound Interstate 35 in Duluth Restricted to One Lane

Drivers using I-35 on the sound end of Duluth will have to deal with a closed lane and more traffic congestion this week.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced that the northbound lane of I-35 near the Cody Street off-ramp will be reduced to one lane today (Monday, August 13) through Wednesday, August 15 for repairs to the concrete pavement in that area.
MNDOT does caution drivers that backups can be expected in this area, especially during peak driving times. Plan ahead, or use an alternative route if necessary.
