Due to damage from the flooding, I-35 will be closed tomorrow morning for emergency patching of the southbound lanes starting at the on-ramp at Highway 61 to Scanlon.
If you made a trip between Duluth and the Twin Cities last summer on Interstate 35, you most likely found yourself a little frustrated with the extra congestion due to road construction. You can expect some minor delays this week on Interstate 35 as crews install some new fiber-optic lines on the Garfield Ave bridge. These lane closures shouldn't affect the "rush hour" traffic, but could slow down midday traffic. Find out specific times and dates after the jump.
