Proctor High School’s Egerdahl Field Is Getting Turfed
A $10 million renovation and construction project for the Proctor athletic complex was proposed and it starts by getting new turf for Egerdahl Field.
According to KBJR, this plan was proposed back in February. The project centers on a new building for a hockey rink which will be built behind Terry Egerdahl Field. With turf added to the field, not only would it still be used for football, soccer, and baseball, but also it would accommodate for softball and lacrosse teams.
You can check out a photo gallery of the construction here and the new turf looks awesome. It’s been about 12 years since I played football on this field, but I can say from memory an update was needed.
