Oh Boy, how embarrassing this is for these kids. Yes I was around for the surge of Rap music, and have been in this same situation singing along or (even better, rapping to one ) that I had no business imitating. You gotta give them props for being original though, and just putting it out there. So for those of you not even born in 1987 be glad you missed out on these ridiculous times.
