I discovered this gem located in Virginia, Minnesota about 10 years ago and never forgot about the massive cone they served me. It was literally taller than my whole head. The Freeze 32 Degrees is a quick and scenic drive from Duluth, straight up Highway 53.

The hot early July weather had me dreaming of this bad boy. The last time I visited, I shared my mammoth cone with a friend who was just as amazed by its massive size as I was.

This time, that $2.75 large cone was all mine. It started melting (and leaning) quickly, so I asked for a cup to plop it in. Yes, I finished the whole thing.

I didn't have any room left after my colossal cone, but they have a pretty extensive menu for an ice cream joint. Burgers, hot dogs, chicken items, tacos, appetizers, and refreshing drinks appear on the menu along with their ice cream creations. There is even a kid's menu if you have the little ones with you.

Next time I visit, I might have to order something other than the enormous cone. Until then, I'll just dream of what I might order. I have it narrowed down to a raspberry shake or a s'more sundae. Or maybe a banana split.

There are so many choices that you're guaranteed to find something for everyone and be able to afford it easily. The prices are so fair and affordable. I'll be honest, I don't think the prices have changed much since I was there 10 years ago.
