The Minnesota Vikings announced today (August 16) they are teaming up with the United Way and many communities in the greater Duluth area to raise money and awareness in support of those impacted by the devastating flooding in June.
The City of Duluth has issued a water conservation notice for the Kenwood and Woodland neighborhoods. Crews are currently working to repair a water main break which required shutting off the Arlington pump station, the main feeder into these areas. Some residents and businesses are experiencing a water outage due to this shut off. The repair time for the water main break is unknown.
Drivers using I-35 on the sound end of Duluth will have to deal with a closed lane and more traffic congestion this week.
