Mix 108

Over the weekend I decided to try the two newest flavors from Mountain Dew. After giving them a try, I decided to buy some more for the whole Mix crew to try!

While there may have been a little rain going on outside, the party raged on aboard the MIX 108 Summer Cool Down Cruise.

Everybody knows that the on-air personalities here at the radio station are a bunch of characters. You might not know that the wackiness extends well beyond our ranks, all the way to the General Manager's office.

One of the questions I am often asked is: What does that studio look like?  Well, it looks about how you would imagine, but....

Jeanne Ryan is an outspoken Peeps advocate. She regularly talks about how much she enjoys the seasonal marshmallow treat. To celebrate the return of Peeps to stores and gear up for Easter, Jeanne and our intern went head to head in a Peeps eating challenge.

Jeanne and I asked you to submit names for our intern, Ian; and you didn't disappoint. After sorting through several awesome suggestions, we narrowed it down to five nicknames, and asked you to vote. Following a hugely successful voting campaign, we're proud to announce we have a winning nickname.

The weather may have been crummy, with fog and sleet engulfing the Twin Ports, but that didn't stop some brave MIX 108 listeners from racing up the hill to become king or queen of Spirit Mountain.

We're happy to welcome a new face to the MIX 108 family! Meet Ian, our friendly intern fella. He will be helping with various on-air and online things around the station. The only problem is that we need a good nickname for him!
