Pop stars never want to limit themselves to simply making music. “It” girl Rita Ora is no different. The singer, who is buzzing hard as she prepares to drop her debut ‘Ora,’ revealed that she does have acting aspirations and that the big screen is in her future, but right now she is zeroing in on her music.

Our favorite ruby-lipped newcomer Rita Ora is everywhere, from magazine covers to iTunes. The singer’s second U.S. single is ‘R.I.P.,’ and it’s available on iTunes. It’ll be on her upcoming album ‘Ora,’ which drops later this year. The song features Rita’s fellow U.K. breakout music star Tinie Tempah dropping science.

Rita Ora normally sports scarlet-stained lips with her unruly, blond locks, but for our interview she went with a more neutral palette paired with a Mickey Mouse graphic dress and her signature black Jordans. She was discussing how she was going to have it “rain” streamers into the crowd for her VEVO Lift gig –  a taped performance happening in less than five hours and was to be held at the Gramer

The singer, who is blowing up as the release of her debut ‘Ora’ draws nearer, is racking up the kind of magazine real estate normally reserved for ladies named Gaga and Bey. Ora is looking fine, blonde and crimson-lipped. Not since Gwen Stefani has a pop star effectively owned red lipstick like Ora.

Rita Ora has already made a big splash in the United States with ‘R.I.P.’ and ‘How We Do (Party),’ and she’s now prepping to her release another song before her debut album ‘ORA’ hits stores. During an interview with Cleveland’s 96.5 KISS FM, the 21-year-old pop princess revealed that her next U.S. single will be called ‘Radioactive.’

Three years ago, Rita Ora was an up-and-coming singer auditioning for Jay-Z with the hopes of being signed to his Roc Nation label. Now the 21-year-old Roc Nation artist will relive that nerve-racking experience vicariously as a temporary judge on the U.K. version of ‘The X Factor.’

Jay-Z is happy with the progression of his new Roc Nation signee Rita Ora. The pop newbie has scored her second No. 1 U.K. single ‘R.I.P.’ (Featuring Tinie Tempah) and is currently opening for Coldplay on their European tour. Not bad for the 21-year-old London native.
