The Deadline is Approaching to Enter the Christmas Lighting Challenge

A Sweet Event is the company behind this great idea of letting homeowners and businesses enter a decorating contest for their holiday displays, and then the general public will vote on their favorite.

We spoke with Peter Cpin  from A Sweet Event and he said he was inspired with the idea from his own family who love to bundle up and head out to see the neighborhood Christmas displays.

If you would like to enter your display the deadline is Friday December 1st! It is absolutely free to enter and includes the cities of Duluth, Superior, Hermantown, Proctor, Two Harbors and Cloquet. Voting will be broken down by city and allow for everyone to vote in 2 categories which are best in home and business.

A Google Map is available to see what homes and businesses have already registered to help you go see the displays in person if you desire. Awards will be given for Best Home and Business in each town, Best Home Overall and Grand Master.
