The Trick to Perfect Easter Eggs–Don’t Boil Them, Bake Them!
Have you wondered if you can bake eggs rather than boil them? I honestly didn’t, because I have more important things to wonder about, but I’m glad I found this tip! I can cook, but for some reason I always mess up hard-boiled eggs.
Here’s what the “egg-perts” say about baking rather than boiling your eggs to dye for Easter.
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
- Place eggs (as many as you want!) in a muffin tin to prevent them from rolling around.
- Cook for 30 minutes and then take eggs out of oven.
- Immediately place eggs into a bowl of ice water (be careful, they’ll be hot!) and leave for 10 minutes.
This method should make the eggs easier to peel when you’re ready to
finally throw them away after being in the fridge for two weeks since you made two dozen so each kid had plenty to dye eat them!
