The City of Duluth is teaming up with Day Trippers of Duluth to offer the public a truly unique experience. The downtown district is steep in history and with the reconstruction of part of Superior street some hidden facts have come to life.

These guided walking tours are free and open to the public while putting a fun and close up spin on the construction and learning about the history of that part of downtown.

Mayor Emily Larson is encouraging people to register early since these tours are expected to fill up fast. This tour is appropriate for all age groups and abilities. The tour will be led by the team from The Duluth Experience and will last about one hour, and will take groups from the Duluth Library along Superior Street and into the skywalk system.

Registration for the tours is required since group capacity is between 10 and 14 people. The tours will be conducted 2x per month at Noon and 4:30 starting June 26th  followed by tours on June 27, July 10, July 24, August 7, and August 14.
