For Randy Bowe owning a small parcel of land on the Superior Hiking Trail has turned into a nightmare, due to rude hikers.

Bowe who is an avid hunter and taxidermist has become fed up with hikers leaving garbage, starting fires and even yelling at him for riding his ATV on his own property, even though it is clearly marked private. This 296 mile course which mostly follows the shore of Lake Superior from Duluth up to the Canadian border actually has a total of 50 parcel owners, but Bowe is the first to close his area off to the public.

A detour is being set up with a more permanent plan in the future. The change will take place May 1'st.
