Aerial Lift Bridge To Undergo Maintenance July 13th

Heads up to Canal Park and Park Point drivers, the Aerial Lift Bridge will be reduced to one lane due to general maintenance starting July 13th.

The general maintenance has already begun as the City of Duluth is working with a contractor to power wash the Bridge deck on July 13th. The bridge will be reduced to one lane traffic at this time. The east lane (headed to downtown) will be closed meaning that two way traffic will be managed by traffic lights. The project should hopefully be done by noon, as long as nothing goes wrong.
