AMSOIL Arena Unveils New Food Items for Bulldog Hockey Season

AMSOIL Arena is gearing up for another exciting season of UMD Bulldog Hockey, and that includes the amazing culinary staff at the DECC. Whether you're a long-time hockey fan or just coming for the food, this season promises to deliver not only exciting games but also a memorable dining experience.

Yesterday, they rolled out seven new menu items and gave some media members the opportunity to give them a taste, and you know I wouldn't miss some free food!

There seems to be a little something for everyone, from fans of spicy foods to fans of classic comfort food—you won’t go hungry while cheering on the Bulldogs this season. The variety is impressive, offering everything from savory, hearty meals to quick snacks that are perfect for game day.

One quick highlight for me was the new Bavarian Pretzel with cheese. This was hands down the best stadium pretzel I have ever had. The texture was unbelievable—crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside—but it wasn’t "chewy" like other pretzels I’ve had before. I HIGHLY recommend you try it.

Your first chance to try this new menu is coming up on Saturday, October 5th, when the Bulldogs take on Bemidji State University at 5 PM.

Hats off to the entire food crew at the DECC. They did a fantastic job on these new items, and I, for one, look forward to what creations they come up with next. Keep up the good work!
