Annual Park Point Sandmodeling Contest and Water Safety Expo

This Thursday July 16th is the annual Sandmodeling Contest and Water Safety Expo at Park Point from 10a-3pm.

It's always a fun time at the beach and it's even better when you get to have family bonding time! There will be prizes given out for several categories of the sandmodeling  contest plus activities such as beach zumba, beach tug of war, a treasure hunt and so much more!

You can also learn how to be safe with the Water Expo providing several demonstrations on life jackets, rip currents, weather safety and more.

I grew up on Park Point and absolutely loved having the beach in my backyard. I think it's a really cool and fun idea for the Parks & Rec to be doing this every year. You can find out more information by logging on to duluthmn.gov.
