April showers bring May flowers...unless it barely rains! According to our news partner WDIO, the month of April has been very dry. So much so in fact, that it is poised to break a record.

WDIO shared the interesting stats on their Facebook page on Saturday, April 25th. Take a look at their infographic:

Wow! That is nuts. Even though we need rain, a bright side to this has been the fact that many of us have been able to get outside and enjoy the outdoors a bit after being cooped up in our homes all month due to COVID-19.

The Old Farmer's Almanac predicted that the month of April would be a wet one, with lengthy periods of rain and snow at times. Clearly, this didn't happen BUT they did get it right when it comes to rain and snow totals: they stated we would see below average precipitation this month and so far, that looks to be true.

We will have to wait and see what May holds for us all.
