Battle of the Best: Can Kwik Trip Top Buc-ee’s as America’s Favorite Gas Station?
We love our Kwik Trip stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin, so it's no surprise that they're being recognized as one of the best gas station brands in the country.
With over 800 locations throughout the Midwest, the brand, best known for its clean stores and friendly staff, is taking on some heavy-hitters in the convenience store and gas station world for the crown of "Best Gas Station in America."

Midwest Favorite Competing on National Stage
USA Today is putting together a series of “best of” lists focused on road tripping across the U.S., and one of the current categories open for voting is "Best Gas Station Brand."

According to USA Today, the first American gas station opened on December 1, 1913. That marked the first time a car could pull up, refuel, and hit the road again. Today, gas stations and convenience stores are everywhere, so it takes something truly unique to stand out.
Going Up Against Big National Brands
To win this competition, Kwik Trip will need to outperform major national and regional brands like Buc-ee’s, Casey's, Love's, TravelCenters of America, and more.
A list of 20 nominees was put together by USA Today, they looked at things like cleanliness, how fresh was the coffee, and the variety of food options for travelers.
USA Today notes about Kwik Trip, “Their bakeries make more than two dozen types of items each day, and all milk is sourced from dairy farms within a 100-mile radius of La Crosse, Wisconsin.”
When to Vote for Kwik Trip
Voting for the "Best Gas Station Brand" is open until Monday, May 5. The Top 10 list—including the winner—will be announced on Wednesday, May 14. Head over to cast your vote and let America know that Kwik Trip is the best in the business.
