Whenever Bob Dylan puts on a show in Minnesota, it draws a big crowd. That's bound to happen once again this summer as the legendary musician with Minnesota roots announced a summer show in his home state.

Dylan is the latest act to be added to the lengthy roster of shows at the new Mystic Lake Amphitheater, which opens to the public this summer.

The new space will be Minnesota's largest dedicated outdoor music venue when it opens this summer in the southwest Twin Cities suburb, Shakopee.

While Bob Dylan's show won't be the first of the inaugural season at the new venue, it is among the first shows currently on the calendar.

This show will start at 7 pm on Monday, July 6 at Mystic Lake Amphitheater, and is likely to be a quick-selling show when tickets go on sale.

There are various presales going on now through the end of the day Thursday (April 9), and tickets go on sale to the general public at 10  am on Friday, April 10 via Ticketmaster.
