City of Duluth Parks and Recreation announced a public meeting to talk about improvements happening in 2020.

The Meeting is March 4th from 5 pm to 6:30 pm at the Piedmont Community Rec Center at 2302 W 23rd st. If you have a concern or are just curious you are invited to attend.

There have always been drainage problems and erosion problems with the park. The city hopes to improve that. In 2016, the City Council approved a plan to take care of the park, including concerns for stormwater management. There are some other plans that will be taken care of with the help of a federal grant to the city.

The meeting will lay out the timeline for the plans and how they will go about the improvements. The construction will be laid out in a Mini-Master Plan which will be part of the discussion.
