Come Help Celebrate Georgie the Sloth’s 21’st Birthday at Lake Superior Zoo

Bring the whole family down to Lake Superior Zoo on Saturday January 20th to help Georgie the sloth celebrate her 21st birthday!

The event is from 1-3pm in the Primate Conservation Center. Cupcakes will be served, a fun craft, some special enrichments for Georgie and the staff from the zoo will also share some fun facts about sloths.

Some Fun Facts about Sloths:

• Sloths can be found in the forests in South America
• They are very slow moving on land, but are actually great swimmers.
• They only leave the trees 1x a week and that is to go to the bathroom on the ground.
• They spend most of their life upside down
