If you're looking for a convenient way to shop for food in the Northland, Community Action Duluth's Mobile Market is a terrific new resource and it debuts February 27.

This is a way for Northland residents to shop for food online, place and pay for their orders ahead of time and then pick them up at the next market site. The market sites will change on each available date, making this like a "grocery-store-on-wheels". Discounts for SNAP participants and families with children under 18 are available.

The first opportunity to check out the Community Mobile Market is Saturday, February 27 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Duluth Children's Museum parking lot. The Duluth Children's Museum is located at 2125 West Superior Street.

Duluth Mayor Emily Larson touted its debut on her official Facebook page:

Community Action Duluth's Mobile Market is gearing up to make it's first appearance this weekend! The "grocery store on wheels" will be stocked with fresh produce, pantry staples, dairy, canned goods, and other food items. Food items are for sale and discounts for SNAP participants & families with children under 18 are available. What an incredible resource to get fresh food options rolling to a neighborhood near you.
