The Como Park Zoo & Conservatory in St. Paul introduced a baby giraffe to the public this week and they are looking for name suggestions from the public.

The giraffe is only about two weeks old and is already 5 feet 8 inches tall and 120 pounds. The soon to be named baby giraffe was the 8th calf for the mother giraffe, Daisy. This is the 22nd giraffe born at the Como Zoo in 24 years.

The public has until Thursday, October 18 to submit a name suggestion on either the Facebook post below, on Twitter or Instagram. Three names will be picked from the suggestions and voted on by the public at an upcoming Halloween event at the zoo.
