If you love the great outdoors, but don't have a cabin of your own, or maybe don't want to deal with the hassle of a tent, the Minnesota DNR has a great option for you.

According to WCCO, the Department of Natural Resources has a huge variety of cabins, camper cabins and yurts that are available to everyone in state parks all across the state of Minnesota. Park Ranger Nick Bartel says the camper cabins are pretty basic with bunk beds and a table, you need to bring your own linens etc.

The average cost per night on the smaller cabins is about $65-$70 per night. This would be a great get away for friends and families as bigger cabins are available too and some have all the comforts of home.
