Just a week ago, a Minnesota stop for the Foo Fighters 2022 tour was announced - then revoked. Now, the band is announcing they have a new place in the Land of 10,000 Lakes to play.

If you missed the story last week, the Foo Fighters announced 16 tour dates for their North American tour. One of the stops was at Huntington Bank Stadium (formerly known as TCF Bank Stadium) in Minneapolis. Within hours of the announcement, the band issued a statement explaining that the venue was "unwilling" to adhere to the band's COVID-19 protocols, so they would look for a new place to play.

This led the band and their team to look elsewhere in the Twin Cities for a place to play. The newly-announced replacement venue won't surprise many.

They announced the morning of December 6, along with sharing that they've added a second Maryland show, that they have a new spot in Minnesota to play. The new venue is US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, just down the road from their previously-announced destination.

The date for this updated show is the same as it was for the Huntington Bank Stadium show, scheduled for Wednesday, August 3, 2022. The updated show at US Bank Stadium is scheduled for a 6:30 start time.

Presale for tickets starts December 7 for members of the band's fan club and Citi Card holders, and they will go on sale to the general public at 10 am local time on Friday, December 10. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster for the various presales and for the general public.
