Giant Airbag Visits Spirit Mountain Giving Skiers and Snowboarders a High Flying Experience [VIDEO]
Over the weekend Spirit Mountain had a giant visitor, an airbag! The US AIRBAG Winter Demo Tour made a stop to give local skiers and snowboarders the opportunity to do some high flying tricks on the mountain.
The huge 50-foot x 50-foot inflatable airbag was put on the hill after a jump allowing the daring to try their best impression of the Flying Tomato. Take a look at the diagram below to give you an idea of the setup.
Jumps were sold at 3 for $10 or 25 for $45. Judging by the reaction on Facebook it was a success and there is no word from Spirit Mountain if this is something that they plan on installing in the future.
